- EFES Contingent Engineering Position (Facilities)
- The primary responsibility for this position is to provide overall project management services and engineering as related to implementing changes at manufacturing facilities
- Experience with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and/or Maintenance is recommended.
- Cross function experience in other areas, such as Supply Management, Quality, Environment or Safety is desirable.
Some specific duties of this position are:
- Work with non-mobile material handling equipment application, engineering, and installation
- Machine tool and process equipment layout and installation
- Coordination, planning, and management of multi-discipline projects
- Consulting and coordination towards factory master planning efforts.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Relevant Work Experience
- Manager looking for Civil Engineering degrees with Construction Management emphasis
- Experience in project management
- Cross competency experience with either Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Supervision, and/or Maintenance Engineering
- Experience in coordinating multiple skilled trades and contractors to achieve project objectives (5+ years)
- Background in building infrastructure systems (mechanical, electrical, structural) (3+ years)
- Understanding of engineering principles as related to manufacturing operations (3+ years) Working knowledge of non-mobile material handling systems (cranes, jibs, monorails, conveyors)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple active projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with of personnel and middle management to communicate and coordinate project activities.
- Capability to create and deliver presentations of projects and process subjects
- Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety standards
